Let’s Play Ball! It’s Baseball Week in Curacao

Curacao Baseball week 2020 is just around the corner. Are you ready?

Although it is a community event, the real winners of Curacao Baseball Week are the island kids. The purpose of the event is to expose the local kids to baseball as both a sport and a profession. This year it runs from January 3-8 and the activities are as exciting as ever! Sign your kids up for a clinic or join a tournament and hobnob with baseball legends. However you choose to participate, you are sure to have fun.

TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALLGAME

Although the week is fun for everyone the focus is the kids of Curacao. The cornerstone of the week is the free daily clinics for kids of all ages. Led by MLB current and former players, this is the highlight. Every day features a different instructor with in-depth teaching. This year’s featured players include Jurickson Profar of the Oakland A’s, Did Gregorius of the NY Yankees, Andrelton Simmons of the LA Angels, and more! These legends offer their time and talent to helping Curacao’s kids have everything they need to follow their passion!

SWING … GOLFER, GOLFER

Also a highlight, the celebrity golf tournament draws in celebrity participants and crowds to cheer them on. Also this year, you can enter to win tickets to the 2020 World Series, all expenses paid! Santa Barbara Beach and Golf Resort is proud to play a lead role in putting the tournament together, along with our friends at Old Quarry.

HIT A HOME RUN

… or at least learn how! Kids clinics for kids of all ages are offered daily. What better way to learn the game than from their MLB heroes? Coaches also get in on the game! Free coaching clinics are offered by the pros. These are a great way to improve your game, and coaching skills.

The island community of Curacao has pulled together to make this an incredible and unforgettable event. Santa Barbara Beach and Golf Resort is honored to be a part of this legacy-building week.
