However you want to do it, we hope these simple recipes provide you with all that you need to relax and rejuvenate yourself inside and out!

  • ½ C oil (coconut, olive, or almond)
  • 1 TBSP brown sugar
  • 1 TBSP Lemon Juice

Coconut Oil – Coconut oil is naturally antibacterial, is a great moisturizer for your skin, and it smells oh-so-good.

Brown Sugar – The granules from brown sugar are an excellent exfoliant, clearing away dry and dead skin cells, giving you smoother skin and a youthful glow. Brown sugar is also antibacterial and contains glycolic acid that keeps your skin radiant and healthy.

  • ½ C. hot (not boiling) water
  • ⅓ C. oatmeal
  • 2 TBSP honey

Oatmeal – An excellent acne fighter, oatmeal soaks up excess oil leaving your skin shine-free. It also contains antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties to help treat dry skin and remove dead skin cells. Oats also contain compounds called saponins, which are natural cleansers that remove the dirt and oil that clog the pores and exfoliate the skin.

Honey – Honey is a natural antibacterial agent so it works well for acne treatment and prevention. It is also full of antioxidants which, among other things, help slow down signs of aging. It also is extremely moisturizing and soothing so it will leave your skin with a beautiful, healthy glow.

1 potato or cucumber

Are your eyes puffy? One of the best treatments for undereye puffiness is to lay a slice of potato or cucumber over your closed eyes and let it sit for several minutes. The enzymes and astringent properties in both veggies help reduce inflammation and tighten the skin.

This particular remedy will also help get rid of wrinkles and dark circles around your eyes.

  • 2-3 aloe vera
  • Coconut or olive oil

Aloe Vera – Aloe vera contains proteolytic enzymes that repair dead skin cells on the scalp. It also acts as a wonderful conditioner leaving your hair smooth and shiny. It promotes hair growth, prevents itching on the scalp, reduces dandruff, and conditions your hair. It is especially good on curly and wavy hair.

Coconut Oil – Coconut oil moisturizes dry hair and adds luster and shine. It also makes your hair softer and prevents breakage and split ends.
